In 2024, it is no longer enough to just sell products or services; marketers must build genuine relationships and make use of insights to truly stand out from the competition. On Thursday the 7th of March, we will be exploring this idea at our Future of Marketing conference, where speakers from industry-leading organisations will showcase how they are rewriting the marketing playbook.
Taking place at The Brewery in London, this event will present attendees with case studies by organisations such as Amazon Web Services, Aon, the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), Eckoh, Equifax, Forrester, PwC, RingCentral, S&P Global, SurveyMonkey, and others.
Speakers will cover a wide range of topics, from content marketing and account-based marketing to maximising growth through marketing technology. Expanding on this, they will delve into how we can take advantage of AI in marketing, personalise content, enhance the digital experience, and enhance the customer journey. What is more, they will touch on issues such as zero-party data, customer privacy, and sustainability marketing. Last but not least, our speakers will also reveal what they are doing to align their marketing and sales teams.
OPENING SESSIONS
To stress the importance of aligning teams, our Future of Marketing conference will take place in conjunction with our Future of Sales conference. The two events will converge at the start of the day then split into different halls and come together once again at the end.
The day will begin with a much-anticipated keynote presentation by Simon Daniels, Senior Analyst at Forrester Research. Simon will address why many businesses are moving away from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to buying groups and opportunities. During this session, attendees will find out why now is the time to ditch leads, how to address the top concerns when making this transformation and the benefits that buying groups deliver.
Bana Kawar, Senior Sales and Revenue Enablement Lead at Amazon Web Services, will take the stage shortly after Simon. Her session is certainly not to be missed as it will unveil how AWS are aligning sales and marketing strategies to build a competitive GTM strategy that drives customer-focused success.
Another speaker our audience can look forward to hearing from is Duncan Clark, Europe Lead at Canva. Duncan will introduce the four ‘superpowers’ leaders need to harness in the visual economy and explain how Canva empowers businesses worldwide to communicate effectively. Attendees will gain exclusive insights from the Visual Economy Report and learn why adopting a visual communication strategy is crucial in the digital age.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
We cannot explore the future of marketing without discussing advancements in technology – specifically, Artificial Intelligence (AI). For this reason, several organisations (including SurveyMonkey, Bidwells, and S&P Global) will explore this subject.
Scott Monroe, Director of Product Marketing at SurveyMonkey, will review how marketers across Europe are using AI and how you can cut through the hype to harness its potential. He will unveil research on how AI is impacting marketing and customer experience and where AI is unlocking new opportunities.
Ben Lee, Global Communications Manager at Bidwells, will also hold a presentation on AI’s role in marketing, sharing the secrets behind the organisation’s award-winning GenAI strategy. More specifically, he will reveal the six-step strategy that integrated GenAI into content workflows, accelerated low-value content delivery and allowed the team to allocate resources to high-value projects.
In addition to the above presentations and case studies, the conference will feature exclusive fireside chats with industry leaders. Taking a case in point, Managing Director of the DMA Rachel Aldighieri will interview the Global CMO of S&P Global, Francesco Federico. Together, they will discuss how to leverage AI in B2B marketing.
